UWL is now ranked 34th in the UK – our highest position of any league table ever! We were also the top university in England for teaching satisfaction and the ranking reaffirms our position as the top modern university in London. 

In addition, UWL has been named University of the Year for Student Experience in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. The College - 

The College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare offers an innovative range of courses at both our West London and Reading campus and will enable the next generation of 21st century healthcare professionals to develop the knowledge and skills to deliver world-class evidenced-based person-centred care. Our simulations centres are equipped with the latest technology and our links with NSH trusts provide the student with an excellent learning opportunity. 

The Role - 

The post holder will take a leadership role in developing placement capacity in partnership with practice learning partners and UWL and assist practice learning partners to identify learning and development resources. You will support practice assessors to make appropriate decisions when dealing with complex situations including underachievement of learners and making reasonable adjustments for students.

The Person - 

The successful candidate will have current knowledge and practical experience of healthcare education. They will also be able to use strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills to work effectively in partnership and as part of a team. 

When able you must have willingness and flexibility to travel to placement providers over a large geographical area that includes London, Berkshire and Surrey.
