The Department 

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to work within our busy and fast-paced Marketing Team. Our Marketing Team is comprised of colleagues working in Events and Communications, Digital and Website, Campaigns, Recruitment and Customer Relationships, and Admissions. Collectively they play a central role in connecting with our communities, internal and external to the University. This is an exciting opportunity for an office administrative assistant to support colleagues working on a variety of marketing projects.    

The Role

As the Administrative Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Head of Marketing, Recruitment and Communications as well as other members of the department. Duties will include administration of financial records, diary management, handling telephone and e-mail correspondence, dealing with paper work and documents on behalf of the head of department and other general office administration duties. 

The Person

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and service focused with the ability and confidence to interact with a wide range of internal and external clients. Applicants will need to demonstrate exceptional written and oral communication skills as well as numeric skills, and be proficient in key Microsoft Office packages, and confident using online platforms.
