The Department of Biomedical Sciences wishes to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Forensic Science.
Applications are particularly sought from outstanding individuals with significant teaching experience in Forensic Science, who are able to contribute to existing subjects in physiology, anatomy, and/or cellular sciences. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and have experience of involvement in Forensic Science accreditation.
Biomedical Sciences has benefited from extensive investment over the past 5 years and has a wide range of state-of-the art facilities, including dedicated microbiology laboratories, confocal microscopy, mass spectrometry and flow cytometry facilities.
Our staff are involved in a range of interdisciplinary activities across the University and at national/international level. In REF 2014, Biomedical science staff made a major contribution to UoA3 Allied Health Professions, Dentistry, Nursing & Pharmacy, the University’s leading submission. The University also has a reputation for innovative teaching, achieving a Silver award in the most recent TEF.
