As a Mechanical DLO Manager you will play a vital role in supporting our endeavours by managing the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on both the Mechanical and Plumbing systems across the University, to keep our estate running.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Mechanical Engineering Operations Team for an experienced Mechanical DLO Manager of directly employed staff to join our established team to manage the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance on both the Mechanical and Plumbing systems across the University's estate using a mixture of contractors and directly employed staff. 

* Please note that upon appointment your job title will be Assistant Mechanical Engineer (DLO).

You will have excellent technical and communication skills, with the ability to manage your own workload. You will be a positive and proactive problem solver with the ability to manage a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance at the same time to ensure that work is delivered on time and to a high standard. You will be a strong team player, but also be self-sufficient and able to work independently.

A full driving license is essential to travel to other local sites
