About You

You are able to work independently with minimal supervision and work well as part of a team. You have excellent communication skills both oral and written. You will show demonstrable customer care skills and a strong customer focus. You will be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required. 

You will have previous experience of running recording studios, audio production suites and delivering training in audio hardware and software. You will also have experience of supporting live music and theatre performances. 

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and collegial team with the development of audio and music provision in a new and inspiring department. Our programmes are very diverse and cover aspects such as Animation to Music Production and Musical Theatre to Television, meaning your skills and experience will be put to work in a variety of stimulating contexts.

You will work within the Creative Arts Development Team and will be expected to take a proactive role supporting the work of the Creative Arts Department in delivering the music and sound curriculum. You will be working in dedicated music and sound recording studios, radio room, theatres, and TV studios. Supporting students and staff will be a particularly strong feature of the post.
