Description :

Grade 7 (£35,333 – £42,155 p.a. depending on experience)

This is a full time role but we will consider part-time (minimum 80%FTE), job share and flexible working arrangements. Secondment opportunities will also be considered. This role will be based on the University campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.

Do you have experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships? Are you looking to gain new skills and experience through an interim role within a fast paced and supportive team? Do you believe in the importance of thanking supporters and providing the highest levels of donor care?

The University of Leeds is one of the top 135 universities in the world.  We have a truly global community, with more than 39,000 students from 170 different countries and over 9,000 staff of 100 different nationalities.  Established in 1904, we have a strong tradition of academic excellence, reflected in first-class student education, along with world-leading research that has a real impact around the globe.

The University’s Advancement Team (formerly Alumni & Development) is looking for a temporary Project Manager to lead our Donor Relations programme and provide a high-level project management resource to underpin the development of strategic fundraising propositions and stakeholder management across the University.

The University has committed to growing its philanthropic income to support the delivery of the ‘Universal Values – Global Change’ strategy. Donor Relations is a critical part of this work with strategic oversight for donor stewardship; ensuring our supporters have the best possible experience of donating to Leeds.

This interim opportunity would provide an excellent opportunity for someone with a project management or similar background who wishes to develop their skills and gain experience in higher education fundraising. It could be done on a full or part time basis (80% minimum FTE) with flexible and remote working options to be discussed. There is a great opportunity here to lead and shape a programme of significant importance to the university at a key time of transition.

What we offer in return
