Description :

At Brighton, we encourage our students and staff to explore their passions and their curiosity through individual research interests and interdisciplinary collaboration.  The School of Business and Law’s main objective is to advance teaching and research focused on responsible enterprise, business management and law that makes a real difference. We are currently working towards gaining AACSB accreditation.

As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking to appoint a lecturer/senior lecturer to join our diverse community of staff, who will be able to contribute to teaching our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in law and supervise our growing number of PhD students. We are looking for applicants who have experience of, and the ability to teach in a range of law subjects.

We are looking for candidates with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and an innovative approach to delivering the curriculum.  Ideally, you will have experience in higher education and hold a PhD (or near completion).  We particularly welcome applicants with experience and interest in foundation subjects with particular specialisms in corporate/commercial/business law and EU law.

In the role, continuing academic development is expected as a means of keeping up to date with developments in those areas reflecting the changes in the legal landscape and environment. We encourage applications from staff who are research active.
