About the Role

As Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Sports Therapy, you will be required to make a significant contribution to the delivery of our modules on sports therapy, including clinical supervision, and other areas of our core curriculum depending on your areas of expertise and experience. We would particularly welcome candidates who are an experienced clinician, a graduate sports therapist (or equivalent) with experience of clinical practice and/or teaching in a context relevant to sports therapy.

You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the qualitative and qualitative requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and friendly professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a commitment to providing an excellent student experience. You should be an experienced and effective teacher and/or clinical practitioner with an appreciation of the clinical competencies defined by our accrediting body, the Society of Sports Therapists.  A desire to provide a high quality, clinically focused learning experience is essential, and your teaching will be informed by your clinical and research expertise. 

To be successful you will further enrich our student’s experience through your expertise and subject knowledge as evidenced through your qualifications and extensive experience of professional practice.
