Description :
Overview of the Role

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge?   Do you have a background in cancer immunology/virology?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research-intensive Universities?

As a highly motivated, talented and committed post-doctoral scientist you will carry out basic research into the use of oncolytic viruses for cancer immunotherapy. You will use in vitro and in vivo models to understand the mechanisms by which antibody-bound oncolytic viruses are delivered to tumours to promote therapy.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor in the translation of oncolytic virus therapy into the clinic.

You should be an experienced postdoctoral researcher with a PhD in a related subject area and considerable laboratory experience in immunology, virology, or a closely allied discipline in biomedical sciences. You will exhibit a proven track record in planning, developing, and publishing high quality research and be able to assist in project managing research activities, and/or supervising other research staff.
