Overview of the Role

Are you an enthusiastic and talented early-career researcher with an interest in digital education and or medical education research? Do you have relevant experience in conducting or supporting research projects and undertaking research engagement activities? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading Universities and be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering real-world solutions?

As part of a research team at the Leeds Institute of Medical Education based at the School of Medicine, you will work in the capacity of a Research Assistant on the development and evaluation of various education and training projects. The role is to work on the research associated with evaluating these projects, in particular, you will work on diverse projects related but not limited to digital education delivery, ethics in digital education, pedagogical innovations and professional identity within medical education.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working closely with industry partners and funders on the delivery of medical education research with real-world impact.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with the ability to consolidate and further develop their research and transferable skills. Each project will require different methods of evaluation so experience in mixed methods research is desirable. The ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential, as are strong organisational skills. Ideally, this previous experience would have been gained in an education or healthcare context.
