We are looking for an enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our busy team operating the University’s IT stores service.
About the Role
Working as an integral part of the stores team you will deliver essential IT equipment to our staff at the University’s many sites around Southampton, Winchester and the surrounding area. Our customers are also our colleagues so a friendly manner and excellent customer service skills are essential to this role.
What you’ll do
Delivering IT equipment to customers across multiple sitesDriving and maintaining a large Transit-style vanSafely loading and unloading IT equipment and moreHandling customer queriesTracking customers down who may not be where they said they’ll beRecording all deliveriesReceiving goods – including unloading deliveries from suppliers in a safe mannerAssist in keeping the stores spaces tidy and free of hazards, reporting any potential hazardsWhat you’ll bring [Bullet list of the key skills the candidate needs to bring, e.g.][ii]
